WHAT IS EYEBROW DETOX REMOVAL?
Eyebrow Detox Removal is a non-laser technique that uses a specially formulated saline solution and glycolic acid to safely extract unwanted pigment from previously tattooed eyebrows. Unlike laser removal, this method works by drawing the pigment upward through the skin's surface, neutralizing old or discolored shades and softening oversaturated brows. The process is gentle on the skin and is ideal for clients who want to lighten, correct, or completely remove their existing brow tattoo before getting new work done.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM LASER REMOVAL?
Laser removal uses concentrated light energy to break down pigment deep in the skin — it can be painful, expensive, and requires many sessions. Our Eyebrow Detox Removal uses a saline and glycolic acid solution applied with a PMU machine, which gently draws pigment to the surface of the skin. It is a softer, more skin-friendly approach that works especially well on PMU pigments (as opposed to traditional body tattoo ink).
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
Most clients see meaningful results in one session, but additional sessions may be required depending on how dark, dense, or deep the existing pigment is. Results vary from client to client — we'll assess your brows at your appointment and advise how many sessions are recommended for your specific case.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedure itself takes approximately 10–30 minutes, making it one of our quickest services.
WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE RIGHT AFTER?
Your brows may appear slightly red for approximately 30 minutes after the procedure. This is completely normal and subsides quickly. Most clients look completely normal shortly after leaving the studio.
CAN I GET THIS SERVICE IF I AM PREGNANT OR NURSING?
As a precaution, we do not perform any cosmetic tattoo procedures on pregnant or nursing women. Please reschedule your appointment for after you have finished nursing.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
You must be 18 years or older. If under 18, please have a parent or guardian email us at LoAnnsBrowStudio@gmail.com.
IS THE STUDIO SAFE?
Yes. We use only single-use, disposable needles and supplies for every client — no exceptions. All stations are thoroughly disinfected after every appointment. Your safety is our top priority.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Book online at loannsbrowartstudio.com. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your total service price.
Pre-Care Instructions
(How to Prepare for Your Eyebrow Detox Removal Appointment)
Preparation for this service is simple:

Come with clean brows — no makeup on the brow area on the day of your appointment.

Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your procedure.

Avoid blood-thinning medications (Aspirin, ibuprofen) 24 hours prior if safely possible — consult your doctor first.

Avoid active skincare (Retinol, AHAs, BHAs) near the brow area for at least 1 week before your appointment.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1–2 weeks before your procedure — sunburned or recently tanned skin is more sensitive.
For your safety, if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, we cannot perform the procedure and will ask you to reschedule.
Post-Care Instructions
(How to Care for Your Eyebrows After Treament)

When you arrive home, wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser (Cetaphil, CeraVe, or baby shampoo) using clean hands. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Wash once more before bedtime.

Continue washing twice daily (morning and night) and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor ointment after each wash.

Continue for 10 days, then return to your normal routine.

Do NOT pick, rub, or scratch the healing skin — let it shed naturally. Picking can cause pigment loss and scarring.

Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2–3 days post-procedure. Apply SPF daily once healed.

No swimming, saunas, or hot tubs for 7–10 days.

Avoid retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating products near the brow area until fully healed.

Signs of infection — contact your doctor immediately if you experience: Fever, abnormal swelling, pus, red lesions, hard raised tissue, or feeling of heat and cold waves.
HEALING PROCESS
What to Expect During the Healing Process

Immediately after: Brows may appear slightly red for about 30 minutes — completely normal.

Days 1–3: The treated area may feel slightly tender. A thin layer of scabbing may begin to form over the area — this is normal and part of the pigment extraction process.

Days 3–7: Natural shedding occurs. As the scab lifts, it takes pigment with it — this is the removal working as intended. Do NOT pick the scabs.

Week 4–6: ✅ Area is fully healed. Results of the removal session are fully visible at this point.
Note: Full assessment of results should be done at the 6-week mark before scheduling your next session or proceeding with new PMU work.

A non-refundable deposit is required to book and will be applied toward your service total.

Please provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

We allow ONE reschedule — your deposit will transfer to your next appointment.

Less than 48 hours notice → deposit is forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook.

More than 15 minutes late → appointment must be rescheduled and deposit is forfeited.

No-show → the full service amount will be charged to your card on file.
