WHAT ARE OMBRÉ POWDER BROWS?
Ombré Powder Brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo designed to give you a soft, powdery makeup look. Using a PMU machine, pigment is layered gradually into the skin — lighter at the front of the brow, deeper toward the tail — for a beautifully defined, natural finish that lasts.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POWDER BROWS AND MICROBLADING?
Powder brows use a machine to gently shade pigment into the skin, creating that soft, filled-in look similar to brow makeup. Microblading uses a manual blade to cut hair-stroke patterns deeper into the skin.
Powder brows are the better long-term choice for most clients — they cause less skin trauma, last longer, and work well on all skin types, including oily skin where microblading tends to fade quickly and unevenly.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
Most clients enjoy beautiful results for 2–4 years. Longevity depends on your skin type, sun exposure, and how closely you follow aftercare instructions. Annual or biannual refresh appointments help maintain the color.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
Your first appointment includes a complimentary touch-up (2nd session), scheduled 2–3 months later. This follow-up allows us to assess color retention and make any adjustments. Most clients are fully satisfied after both sessions.
HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE?
Plan for approximately 1 hour, which includes your consultation and the procedure itself.
WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR POWDER BROWS?
This service is not available if you are:

All other health concerns — including diabetes, heart conditions, skin sensitivities, or current medications — can be discussed during your consultation. We'll help determine if the timing is right for you.
I'VE HAD BROW TATTOOS DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE. CAN I STILL BOOK?
Yes, but you must get our approval first. Please text a selfie (natural lighting, full face, no makeup, no filter) to (248) 924-5450 with your full name and the service you're interested in. We'll assess whether a cover-up or correction is workable before you schedule.
In cases where previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or oversized, we may recommend eyebrow detox removal before proceeding.
HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?
You must be 18 years or older to receive any tattoo service at LoAnn's Brow Art Studio. If you are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian email us at LoAnnsBrowStudio@gmail.com.
IS YOUR STUDIO SAFE AND STERILE?
Absolutely. We use only single-use, disposable needles and supplies for every client — no exceptions. After each appointment, needles are safely discarded and all stations are thoroughly disinfected. Your safety is our top priority.

HEALING PROCESS SECTION
What to Expect During the Healing Process

Follow these steps carefully — proper aftercare directly affects how well your brows heal and how long the color lasts.

When you get home: Wash your brows gently with a mild cleanser (Cetaphil, CeraVe, or baby shampoo) using clean hands. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Days 1–10: Wash brows twice daily (morning and night) and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor after each wash.

After Day 10: Stop the routine and return to your normal skincare.

Do not pick, scratch, or rub the healing skin — let it shed naturally.

No makeup on or near the brow area for 3–4 days post-procedure.

No swimming, saunas, or hot tubs for 7–10 days.

Avoid direct sun exposure for 3–4 weeks. Once healed, apply SPF daily to protect your color.
-
Avoid long-term retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating products near the brows — these accelerate fading.

Signs of infection — contact your doctor immediately if you experience: Fever, abnormal swelling, pus, red lesions, hard raised tissue, or waves of heat and cold.

Body: Every client heals differently, but here's a general timeline so you know what's normal:

Day 1: Brows appear slightly darker and more defined than the final result — this is completely normal.

Days 2–3: Brows may feel tight and dry.

Days 3–5: Natural shedding begins. Color will appear lighter as fresh skin covers the pigment — this is temporary, not fading.

Week 6: ✅ Brows are fully healed and your true color is revealed.

Your touch-up appointment (included with your first session) is scheduled after the full healing period to fine-tune the result.
Policies & Disclosures
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
We value your time and ask that you value ours. Please review the following before booking.

A non-refundable deposit is required at booking and applied to your service total.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

We allow one reschedule — your deposit transfers to the new appointment.

Less than 48 hours' notice → deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to rebook.

More than 15 minutes late → appointment must be rescheduled and deposit is forfeited.
-
No-show → the full service amount will be charged to your card on file.
These policies apply to all clients without exception. No refunds on deposits or services.
TOUCH-UP POLICY
Your complimentary touch-up (2nd session) is included with your first appointment and is typically scheduled 2–3 months later.

If you are satisfied with your results after the first session, you are not required to keep the touch-up — but please give us 48 hours' notice to cancel.

Any additional touch-up adjustments made after the complimentary 2nd session will be charged at the applicable refresh rate.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure additional touch-up appointments.
